Information About Us

My name is Heather Shaffer and my family and I live in Dongola Illinois. We live in a small community, with about 750 people. We have two little boys, Drew and Brandon. I also have a wonderful husband, who has put up with a lot from me. 

My sister first got us started with sight hounds. She and her husband have Italian Greyhounds. They are such sweet dogs. I met my first whippet and fell in love, and from there its history. 

I would eventually like to show these beautiful dogs in conformation. I show horses and really enjoy that, so I think I'll enjoy the dog scene as well. For now, we are planning on lure coursing this spring and summer. Were really looking forward to that, and so is Ozzy. 

At this point in my life, I'm trying to finish college. I'm a senior at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. My major is Information Systems Technology. Ok, I admit it, I'm a computer geek. This is the first web project, so bear with me. Your bound to see major changes thought the life of this website.
